Road runners in Sussex are well served with the provision of many road race events from 5 km to 20 miles - some are Club races, others are County Championship’s and include the annual road relays at Christ's Hospital, Horsham.

Through the permit scheme we maintain a good standard of organization. At least three road races, the Brighton 10 km., the Chichester Priory 10 km., and the Hastings Half Marathon are among the top ranked road races n the UK.
